My sister has been bugging me to blog more regularly. Lately, since food's been pretty central to our lives, I guess I will blog about what we've been eating and what I've been reading.
I really like DC Foodies and DC fud (the latter because of an awesome series of posts about eating weird things in Asia--I can totally relate.
Because we've been out of town or had visitors, we got off our "cooking a fancy dinner every Sunday" routine. I wanted to revive that, so we headed off to Weg's for supplies and hit the local farmer's market on Sunday.
So tonight we had:
Pecan crusted tilapia (courtesy of Weg's) topped with a quick tomato salad I whipped up using the cute little heirloom tomatoes from the market, fresh basil, and some chardonnay vinegar. Chris sauteed a few heads of broccoli with garlic.
